Engage with the CoP

The GEC Cash Community of Practice serves as an entry point for knowledge exchange, sharing of resources and discussion around technical support related to the use Cash in coordinated education responses. The aim of is to sustain the awareness and promote the use of GEC resources for improved use of Cash in education responses. In so doing, this community of practice builds on the results achieved by the GEC Task Team on Cash and Voucher Assistance which over a period of several years delivered several key tools, operational guidance documents and trainings to support the use of cash in EiE. The CVA Task Team, co-chaired from 2019-2024 by World Vision International and Plan International facilitated learning and evidence gathering and sharing among GEC members to promote the use of CVA. It also provided quality assurance and technical support for the tools and evidence pieces developed by Task Team members.

Trainings

An online Agora CVA training for cluster coordinators and the incorporation of CVA into tipsheets for HNOs/HRPs and education cluster strategy guidance, and an online Kaya CVA training on how EiE programmes can incorporate cash components from design through to delivery.
